Terms of Use
Effective from 1 July 2025
Eligibility Requirements
By using New Jackpot, you confirm you are at least 18 years old and reside in Australia. We verify player identities through government-issued ID and may restrict accounts failing verification. Residents of certain Australian territories may have limited access due to local gambling regulations. Players must provide accurate personal details for tax and prize payment purposes.
Ticket Purchases
All ticket purchases are final and non-refundable under Australian consumer law. Tickets remain valid for 12 months from draw date as per NSW Lotteries regulations. You must claim prizes within 7 years of the draw date. We reserve the right to cancel suspicious transactions and refund payments when necessary to comply with Australian financial regulations.
Prize Claims
Prizes over $5,000 require identity verification and tax documentation per ATO requirements. Winnings are paid via electronic transfer to Australian bank accounts only. We withhold applicable taxes as required by Australian law. Unclaimed prizes after 7 years are donated to registered Australian charities as mandated by state lottery regulations.
Payment Methods
We accept major Australian credit/debit cards and approved digital wallets. Third-party payment processors must comply with AUSTRAC regulations. Repeated failed transactions may trigger temporary account restrictions. Daily deposit limits apply in accordance with Australian responsible gambling standards. All transactions are processed in AUD only.
Prohibited Activities
You may not use automated systems to purchase tickets or manipulate outcomes. Syndicate play must comply with Australian group gambling laws. Any attempt to circumvent regional restrictions violates our terms. We prohibit using VPNs to access services from restricted Australian territories. Fraudulent activity will be reported to the Australian Cyber Security Centre.
Limitation of Liability
New Jackpot is not liable for technical issues preventing ticket purchases under Australian consumer guarantees. Our maximum liability is limited to ticket cost or prize value as per NSW Civil Liability Act. We exclude liability for indirect losses under Australian law. Force majeure events may suspend services without notice or compensation.
Account Termination
We may suspend accounts violating these terms or Australian laws without notice. Self-excluded players under Australian national self-exclusion register cannot reopen accounts. Dormant accounts are closed after 24 months with unclaimed balances donated to Gambling Help Australia. You may close your account anytime by contacting our Australian support team.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by New South Wales laws and Australian Consumer Law. Disputes must be filed in NSW courts unless otherwise required by Australian law. The NSW Office of Responsible Gambling oversees complaints we cannot resolve. We comply with all Australian state and federal gambling regulations.
Amendments
We may update these terms to reflect changes in Australian legislation or business operations. Significant changes will be notified via email 30 days before taking effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance of revised terms. Archived versions are available upon request to comply with Australian record-keeping requirements. Check this page regularly for updates.
